This shot is making me hungry, and remorseful that the cherry tree in my yard did not yield much fruit this year.
The occasional stems here not only compliment the colors of the cherries, but they also offer some relief from the uniformity of the display.
The focus could be a bit sharper in the foreground, but it fades out well in the top right corner. Also, while on the subject of that corner, it spreads out the variant colors of the picture, and is a good contrast for the stem and leaf in the bottom left.
The cherries have a waxy look about them, which goes very well with the abundance of reflections.
Overall, there is good balance in this picture; not only with focal points, but with shadows and contrast as well.
for some reason, that hint of blue in the upper right corner tugs at my heartstrings. I'm sentimentalized by the thought of cherries in a grandmother's turquoise fruit bowl eaten in the heat of summer, I guess. lovely work.
I like this. The light blue up in the corner gives the photo a wierd feel. It makes it more interesting than a shot of nothing but cherries, and I can't explain why...

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

Comment, to get comments.
Share your kindness, not your hate.
Love the art, before yourself.
Suggestions:
I would have removed all the greenery ans the one or two "not so shiny" ones.
Otherwise I think it's pretty good, i.e. don't be too critical about your work, ...upload some more!
